When I connect to the PC, the Clip says “connected” but Vista says MTP Device Failed.
I have Media Player 11. I also have old Sansa firmware 11. I would update firmware if I could get Vista to see the Clip.
Any Ideas?
Yes, force MSC mode.
Unplug the device and turn it off.
Set the lock switch on.
press and hold the center button and connect to the computer, (Keep holding the center button till it connects).
Now you can update the firmware.
