Clip Jam "not compatible with Audible content"?

Hi.

When I connect a new Clip Jam 8 GB device to my PC I immediately receive this error message;
“Your SanDisk Clip Jam device model is not compatible with Audible content. Please click Ok to see our Device Center to see which SanDisk devices are compatible with Audible.”

When I try to activate the Clip Jam, Audible Manager fjust asks me to connect an Audible compatible device…

I previously had a Sandisk Clip Sport Plus 16 GB activated for Audible but this device is now faulty - so I bought the Clip Jam to replace it.

I have followed the procedure to deactivate the Clip Sport Plus on Audible Manager.

I am running Windows 7.

I found an old thread which suggested changing the Clip Jam’s drive letter to B, which I have done, but it has made no difference.

The Clip Jam is running the latest firmware.

Can anyone offer any advice please?

Hi @imprator,

Please refer to the below link to check the article of supported file types in Clip Jam:

Thank you for your reply.

My player supports AAX audible files.

However, after further research it appears that the problem may be that Audible have deactivated Audible Manager and replaced it with AudibleSync. Unfortunately, AudibleSync doesn’t work correctly with Windows 7 (my operating system), only with Windows 10/11.

So it appears that the problem probably doesn’t lie with the player and I must look elsewhere for a solution.

Thank you for your help.
