Clip+ display corrupted

I have a 4gb Clip+ that’s about five months old. Yesterday the display suddenly went haywire. Random letters now appear as verticle lines or non-alphabetical characters, making the player almost impossible to use.

Any suggested fixes?

I downloaded the firmware update, dragged it to the device and let it update. Problem resolved.

You can try resetting the device, re-installing the firmware and maybe formatting, but if none of these help there’s really nothing else you as a user can do. If it was bought as “new” and not a re-furb SanDisk offers a 1 year warranty; you may want to call them up and see about a replacement.
