I have the older MP3 and not used for a while. Plugged in to PC and wasn’t recognized so unplugged. Now writing for help. Tried download software but only “firmware” comes up. Don’t know if mine is a v1 or v2 (nothing on the device to check and it is not turning on …“low battery”. I thought if I plugged in PC it would recharge the battery but so far just showing “connected” but computer not recognizing. Any help would be super.
try putting the usb cable into different usb ports on your computer. it worked for me. also i believe when u plug the mp3 player when turned off, it should automatically turn on. i’ve had that problem b4 and this always works. let me know if this helps.
