Battery time playing FLAC.

My CLIP+ only plays about 6-7hs using FLACs. Is this normal?

Flacs are very hard on the battery. If you need more time, use mp3’s.:wink:

Yes.  FLAC is (usually) very easy on the battery, but works inefficiently in the sandisk software for some reason.  FWIW if you use rockbox, your battery life with FLAC will likely more then double as the flac decoder is highly efficient.

I get +/- 11 hours playing FLAC files on mine. Volume is typically 70-90%.
