all mp3s lost?

hi i’m posting this because i just updated the firmware. but it says that it has has no songs. but i plugged it up in the computer and it has the music files. this is weird. please sombody respond ASAP

Settings–>System Settings–> USB mode… it always switches when you update. Try MSC, and if you still can’t see them then try MTP. :wink:

I had that problem too when I updated the firmware on my 8gig.I ended up having to reload the songs.On my 4gig I updated the firmware before I loaded the songs.
