A fix for the "Folders that are 'empty'" problem.

Yesterday I bought a new 32GB Clip Sport Plus. I had an older 16GB version of this same player. I loaded the music playlists I had created for my old player onto my new player and found that many of the playlists were empty. This seems to be a common problem.

I discovered if I simply recreated the playlist that when loaded a second time, it was not empty. Simple fix. I create my playlists using Windows Media Player. To recreate I simply opened the current play list and deleted the “.m3u” file. I then used the remaining song files to create the playlist in the normal manner which added the .m3u file back. This new playlist loaded on the player and the playlist was not empty.

Hi @dbsoccer,

Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the SD Technical Support team for best assistance and troubleshooting:

Keerti_01. I don’t need a support case as there is no problem. I found a solution to a problem that, apparently, is pretty common - Empty Folders. My post is to simply communicate what I found to be a solution to my problem so others may benefit.
