2 Issues for the Fuze

When I try to play the songs, the player just runs  through the list of the music without playing any songs.  I have the latest updated software?  Any idea how to fix this problem?  I thought by deleting and re-importing the songs might work, but I’m having an issue trying to find the folder with the music in it.

When I connect the player to my pc and open the explorer, I can not locate my music file.   The only item that show is an icon named DevIcon.fil

Sounds like you might just need to reformat it and start over.

The Music folder is ‘hidden’ by default. You might have to change the setting in Windows.

It also matters as to which USB mode you used to transfer the songs to it, MTP or MSC. Files added in one are not visible or accessable in the other.

There’s also an Auto-Defect setting that defaults to MTP if possible; if not then it will connect in MSC. This can lead to confusion. Best to select one or the other manually. :wink:

What format are your songs in, and what was/is the source?
