I’ve been having trouble with my Fuze. All of this started before I upgraded it to the latest firmware, too. When I plug in my Fuze to my computers (both with either Vista or Windows 7), I’ll go to the music folders and it either says it’s empty (if in MSC mode) or it’ll only show the most recent files I have downloaded (MTP mode). Before this problem, my USB mode was always set to “Auto Detect”. I know that this isn’t a matter of what USB mode I’m in because either way, not all of my files will appear. My computer still recognizes the Fuze and will show all of the folders; they just appear to be empty. It’ll even tell me that I still have 24 MB remaining or so. How come all of my music appears “invisible” to my computer? Any way to fix this? Again, I don’t think this has anything to do with the latest firmware upgrade as it started having this problem before I updated it and it’s not a USB mode problem because I’ve tried both USB modes. Please help or tell me if you’re having the same problem!
Another prime example of why not to use the (lovingly referred to) Auto Defect Mode. I’d suggest sormatting your player, which will remove all user-added content, regardless of USB transfer mode, set your player to either MTP or MSC (whichever you deem more approrpriate to the way you intend to use your player), and re-load everything.

The Auto setting simply screws everything up. Even though you have now set the USB mode manually, it was set to Auto first. Even the development team members that have contributed to this forum have said not to use it.
