short tag length with ogg files

Hi,

I have some ogg files on my Clip+ with artist tags longer than 31 characters which are truncated. I found that there is a similar problem with UTF-8/16 encoding in ID3 tags on the Fuze. But I didn’t find a way to change the encoding in ogg files.

Is there a solution/workaround for that, other than reencoding the files to mp3?

Have you tried MP3Tag? I believe it supports OGG.

I just tried setting the tags with MP3Tag, but the encoding setting seems to only apply to ID3 tags, not ogg tags.

So the artist name is still truncated after 31 characters.
