i have a sandisk cruizer blade 4gb having a problem in formating showing a message disk is write protected sp please tell me the solution to format it

I have the same problem with an SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 32GB.

No format tool so far could help me.

Not even Linux with gparted.

98% chance that this is already bricked. Sorry to give to you bluntly but I hope that this is still new and under warranty.
