Won't turn on

This is my second sansa clip, i was listening to it then it turned off. i checked the battery life and it says 98 percent life. What else can be wrong with it, and how do I fix it.

Did you try to reset?  Hold the on switch in the uppermost position for 10-15 seconds plus.
