ok so i haven’t had much luck using the media converter that goes with the Sansa Fuze, so i’m going to try using another converter. Which file type should my videos be converted to in order to be played on my player? Much thanks.
Its not a standard file format, youll need to use either Rhapsody software or Sansa Media Convertor to transfer videos (Make sure you have the latest versions).
Here are the specs for the file that I got when trying to convert a video under Linux to the Sansa Fuze (I ended up emailing Sansa Support and got these specs):
Video:
Video Container: Fully interleaved AVI
Codec: MPEG-4 (Simple Profile level 1 or 2)
Bitrate: Up to 512 Kbps
Resolutions: QCIF+ (224x176)
FPS: Up to 20 fps
Audio:
mp3
bitrate:128kbps
no. of channels:2
sample rate:44100khz
