I just bought a SansaClip - is Rhapsody the only place I can download songs? I hate to pay $120 a year for subscription then $.89 per song.

There are many places that you can get songs. Just google it up. If you just want to buy specific songs, you can go to eMusic, Amazon, Wal-mart, and many other that are available online or you can just ripped your old CD and then transfer it to the Clip. There are many alternatives, you just have to search it up.

dude, the unwillingness to search the very basix come from entitlement and the idea that their time is too valuable-- i aint talkin bout in-depth , obscure searches … . on the volume complaint alone, there are 3 separate threads on the first page on the same thing w/same answers… i aint changin, i aint slowin down… ban/dont ban, whatever.

My personal favorite is amazon.com … $.99/song (usually less if you buy the entire album), no DRM.
If you like entire albums, er CDs, and have some CDs you’d like to trade for others, consider lala.com. You post the CDs you’re willing to trade, and the ones you want, and lala.com takes care of the shipping costs, materials etc. If you receive a CD, you pay $1.49. Rip and enjoy.
If you don’t mind songs containing DRM (subscription), check out spiralfrog.com. Free, with a good number of popular artists.
Then there’s music.download.com … not so many popular artists, and you have to hunt around for the downloadable MP3s versus the streams, but again it’s free.
