What is MP3Tag and how to manage it?

hello, can you explain MP3Tag and how to manage it?

The MP3Tag site, including for downloading the software:  http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

The MP3Tag Help pages, explaining what the software can do and how to do it (very useful!):  http://help.mp3tag.de/

What exactly does this have to do with getting a refund from the SanDisk store? It is after all, the subject of this thread.

MP3Tag is one of the best organized and powerful ID3 tag editing applications out there.  It allows you to correct the embedded ID3 tags to a format that the Sansa works best with (ID3v2.3 ISO8859-1 or Latin-I), and it allowd you to embed album art, or append it as a separate jpg image.

Given how finicky Sansas can be with tags, and how incredibly useful MP3Tag can be for fixing sloppy tags and putting them in a Sansa-friendly format, I think this topic should be stickied.

Thank you for the information!
