Just bought a My book live back up drive, installed software can browse network and move files between drive and computer.
Problem is when I run the WD Smartware it doesnt show me my drive it shows nothing, so I can not configure the software to run.
Read in one other post that it wont work unless it is connected directly to the PC which seems ridiculous as it is a network drive and is easily accessible the explorer.
Beginning to worry that this is a waste of time, can anyone help me connect to it so the software can run the backups it says it will do
