Installed WS My Book Live about year ago and everything was working fine. Recently replaced my computer and installed WD Smartware on new computer. When I open WD Smartware it only gives me an option to backup to Dropbox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled software two times and have checked for updates but does not help. I can see the My Book Live Drive fine from File Explorer and can play music off of it. So not sure why I can’t get Smartware to see it.
Hello calif, try uninstalling Smartware and then reinstall it again, also check if you have any firmware updates available for the My Book Live.
