volume keeps changing on it's own :-(

i have a 1gb black sansa clip. it has an annoying habit of sometimes lowering it’s volume output during the gap between songs. i normally have it on max (i play it in my car)

once the volume has dropped, as soon as i operate any button it returns to max again.

i’ve loaded the latest firmware but it still has this fault.

anyone else noticed this?

should i return it under warranty?

had the same problem. i guess it is sortof common. i was using custom equalizer setting, changed it to normal and then the problem was gone. but it kinda ■■■■■ that i cannot use my custom equalizer setting any more…
