Hi all, my USB 3.0 32GB USB stick just suddenly stop being recognized: theblue LED flashed slowly on and off but the PC does not recognize the USB stick at all, nothing in the device manager and no sound when inserting the USB stick. The USB ports I tried it on all work perfectly with other USB drives and devices, and I have tried it on 2 laptops and my workstation, all yield the same result, nothing. It was working fine the day before and the next day simply nothing. It hasn’t been dropped or squashed or bend while plugged in. My gut feeling is that it’s toast (it’s less than 2 years old) but the fact that it died just like leaves me baffled: I’ve had Sandisk USB sticks die before but the data was at least recoverable just in a read only state. I know these sticks have embedded controller and flash all-in-one so data recovery is not viable. Any seen this happe before on these Ultra USB 3.0 models?
