Trying to put multiple playlists on Clip +

I have an 8 GB Clip+ with a 32 GB memory card, and I use the device with Rhapsody To Go subscription music service.  I have tried to put multiple playlists on the device, but it seems to always default to just one playlist.  If I try to put a second one on (via Rhapsody software), all that happens is the 1 playlist stays the same, except the name of the playlist changes to the name of the playlist I’m trying to add.  Any suggestions on how to get more than one working playlist on the device at a time?  Thanks!
