I have noticed that transferring pictures from hard drive to usb or external hard drive says ‘witout properties’.  how do i set up  my system to never lose the properties OR what is the danger/advantage to keeping or not the properties?

signed technologically challenged needs help -  did not know how to post a question from the start, sorry.  thanks for any help step by step you anybody can provide.

I suspect the properties in question are those related to an NTFS file system and the flash drive is FAT32.  Normal situation and nothing to worry about.
