hi all…
i bought my My Passport Essential SE 1 TB last year(2011) in August…but now it’s not working…
when i insert usb in my laptop there is sign of usb detection which shows that hardware is detected but i am unable to see the drive in my computer…moreover i have tried WD quick formater it also ends with an error…in disk management a box opens…

afterwards if i click ok then following box comes…

if i right click on disk 1 which is my WD external drive it shows nothing…
on bottom right i get…
i am unable to format the drive…i have even updated the firmware…but all in vain…
please i need help…i don’t care of data…but i need back my fuly operational external hard…
please HELP…!!!
