Alright, as some of you know, i posted sometime ago concerning how long ago i got this Fuze. I’d say 1-1/2 months ago. But its been kept sealed (reinstalling windows, etc, getting my music library together, etc) until 2 days ago. The day before yesterday, i opened it up, charged it full, then let it alone overnight (after it was done charging). Last night was the FIRST time i ever ‘used’ it. I put some MP3’s from a talk radio station on the fuze (of course i did this after formatting it and updating it. I updated it first, then i formatted it because of the MP3’s that come with the Fuze, of course i think the software from the update is still on the player) So yes, i put some talk radio MP3’s on the player, a few WAV files for a total of about 39 tracks. So i start listening to it while i lie down. It went well but then after some mins. it went to a track 25 (which may be the problem, not sure) and track 25 was about approx. 1:25:00, the pause symbol came on and i couldnt do anything after that. It wouldnt respond to the pressing of buttons or anything, the music stopped and the seek bar was ‘jittery’. Now fast forward overnight, i thought i would hope and pray that connecting it to a PC would help but it is purely unresponsive now. I’ve tried plugging it to the back USB port, and the front. The Fuze will not respond in any way whatsoever. No lights, no anything. I have JUST started using this Fuze player and im truly confused what couldve caused this. This player is practically brand new. Also, i dragged/dropped my music onto the Fuze, all the tracks that are on it were put into it in that manner. Sigh…here is hoping my player is not dead already. I have always hoped i wouldnt run into issues like this but…well thats techno. for you lol. Thanks for any and all help.
Hmm…seems like after browsing the forums and coming across a particular topic, i was able to press and hold the on switch for about 10 secs. it then came on. I ALWAYS use very high quality VBR but there were 2 WAV files causing the issue lol. Sorry mods. You can delete this topic.
