I’ve just installed a 480G Pro drive on an old laptop and partitioned the drive 78/368 for OS & data respectively.
Will partitioning the drive reduce the ability of TRIM to implement wear levelling on each partition or is wear levelling done across the drive regardless of partitions?
TRIM and wear leveling are two different things that are not really related. Wear leveling is done by the SSD controller and will be done regardless of the partitions.

wear leveling is done at a lower level than the partition table so it should not have any effect on wear leveling.
