I’ve got a problem with my Sport Go 32GB. It is only a few months old and had been working perfectly, up until a couple weeks ago. It will play a track, but will not advance to the next track. It is like it is stuck in Repeat mode. Repeat mode is set to OFF. In fact I’ve never used Shuffle or Repeat at all. I’ve removed files, renamed files, etc, but nothing has changed. I even formatted it and let it reset itself. Loaded a few folders and tried that. Still the same problem. I have to manually select the next track for it to play. Once that track ends, it repeats. And so on. It is getting very frustrating to have stop what I’m doing in order to select the next track. I’m hoping someone may know why this is happening. Everything else about the player seems to be in proper working order.

Thanks in advance for any help with this issue.

I think it is fixed now. I removed the metadata from a few files as an experiment. It appears to have fixed the problem. I’ll test it today at work to see if all goes well. I believe it probably will, based on yesterday evenings results. It correctly played through three 1 hour lectures just fine. So, hopefully this problem is now solved.
I wish to confirm the player is indeed working perfectly now. The player was used for 8 hrs at work today and didn’t miss a beat. For whatever reason, it did not like the metadata of the files I was using. Perhaps the age of the files was the cause? They are George Gordon: The Law Hour, originally created between 2007-2010. On my PC, using VLC, they played just fine. But the Sport Go suddenly became unhappy with them. Not a big deal, as the metadata was not anything I cared to have attached to the files.
