songs won't play

I have the Sansa 8GB clip.

Most all songs play fine, but certain albums when synced won’t play.

They are in the MP3 format and play in Windows Media.

When you press play the songs will continuosly cycle through without playing.

This just happens with some files but not all.

Can you make out anything about the affected albums that would make them different technically? Are they at an odd sample rate, mono or whatever?

no, just a 192kbps files.  I do let WMP convert them to 160 when I sync.

It’s not every album, it just seems to happen once in a while.

I have tried deleting the album from the clip and resyncing, but it doesn’t seen to help.
