songs that cannot be seen on computer

hi,

my problem is with songs that had been downloaded a while ago and now cannot be seen on computer, therefore cannot be deleted. What should I do ?

Note: I cannot delete them directly on sansa clip because I cannot see anything on it - my leds are burned - I only see the songs that I downloaded recently

Since your screen isn’t working, it’ll be tricky to be able to navigate around the different menus on the player.  The only other way to get rid of songs in a different usb mode is to format your player through the computer, which will delete everything so hopefully, you have those songs on the player already backed up.

What player do you have and what memory size is it?  If it’s a 2GB one, you format as FAT.  Anything over, format as FAT32.  And do not use the quick format.
