I went to do a back-up of my computer onto myPassport when I saw that a SmartWare update was available. So I decided to update the software first. I could see myPassport as a ‘target backup’ before I decided to do the update, but now I only see Dropbox. Nothing I do makes mypassport appear in the Smartware system so I can back-up my computer.

Restart your computer and make sure the drive is seen on the computer. If the drive is seen in the computer but not in Smartware then I recommend you uninstall and reinstall Smartware
