I have a sandisk mp3 player. I just purchased a chromebook and want to know if there is an app for controlling and loading mp3s to my mp3 player?

Not sure if it’s compatible with Chromebook but check out Rockbox.

I fail to see the logic (or the usefulness) of this suggestion.  :confounded:

You might see if the Google Music player on Chromebook will allow you to export a playlist to the player.

There are also Playlist apps for Android–I don’t know if those work on Chromebook, but you could check around. The Clip uses .m3u playlists or .pla playlists.

However, you don’t need any app!  Go to Settings/System Settings/USB Mode and set it to MSC. Connect it to the Chromebook’s USB port and you can drag-and-drop files or folders directly onto the Clip or memory card.

I saw online that chromebooks are getting MTP support in the next release, so unless you want to wait until then, you’ll need to use MSC mode.
