SANSA Clip water damage

My sansa got damp when a water bottle leaked in my purse, and now it won’t turn on. I put it in rice for a couple of days, any other suggestions?

It usually takes more than a couple of days for the player to dry out.  It’s recommended to leave it in uncooked rice for about a week.

Some have revived their player by placing it in a warm spot (out of direct sunlight) and placing a fan in front of it overnight or for a couple of days.  One person even put it in the freezer for a couple of days and that person swears that doing that works.  lol

Once the player is completely dry inside and it doesn’t turn on, then you can try to charge it.   Sometimes the battery gets depleted.
