Hi, we bought this player at christmas for my teen and I have had it with all the problems it has. It will not turn on half the time, when it does, it freezes up while playing and won’t play again. Now again it won’t turn on. My computer will no recongize it either now. I have done all the trouble shooting on this site, all of it. What is the deal with this thing? I am so fed up with this player that I am ready to just trash it and never buy this brand again. PLease help.
Have you formatted it through the Clip’s System menu, and then put on the latest firmware?

I have not tried those thing however it will not turn on at this point to even try, any suggestions?
Hmm. Try holding the switch in the On position for 15-20 seconds, then let go. This performs a reset.
