I have a sansa clip + and when i connected it too my windows 7 laptop, It would freeze the computer up and i would have to restart? Is this a common problem? Does it happen on Vista or XP?

You might try formatting the player (Settings > System Settings > Format) and see if that clears the bone that’s sticking in Win 7’s craw. Note that this will erase any files you’ve put on it, so you’ll have to reload once you get the freezing problem resolved.
