I have a 16Gb SanDisk Cruzr which now fails to load when plugged in to my computer. I have a backup of the drive but cannot load the Vault as it has to be run on a SanDisk USB flash drive which I obviously now don’t have.Is there anyway of retrieving the information from the vault?
I assume you are running Windows so open Disk Manager and see if your SanDisk drive shows. If so assign C a drive letter then try to access Secure Access.
Another option, try it in a different computer.
If you can access it via a drive letter try running a CHKDSK command for it before running Secure Access.
If nothing works, return the drive to SanDisk for a free replacement.
While backing up files is an excellent idea you need to back them up in their original form. Zipping them with a password secures them.
