Sandisk Sansa M230 Music Transfering Issues

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you could help me out. I have a Sansa m230 512 MB mp3 player. I also have rhapsody. Well a few days ago I turned on my mp3 player to listen to some music and I got a message saying that If I wanted to listen to my subscription music anymore I needed to re sync my player. well I didn’t have the money to get rhapsody going again, so I downloaded a CD onto my device. I just got the money today and re-subscribed. When I plugged my device into the computer It said USB Connected. MTP. I then tried to transfer music, at the bottom it said transfering music, time remaining: 28 seconds. It stayed on this screen for about a minute then it said “Error” at the bottom. I disconnected my device, and on the screen of my mp3 it said “please wait rebuilding the library”. Then it says “No files” on my screen. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do to re sync my device. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I need to update mine, but I don’t know how. HELP ME!!!

@koigim

try to format the device then authorize it (just right-click on the device) using the rhapsory software.

@anilover503

check the firmware of your m200 by going to settings > info.  if its v1, v2 or v3, click this link.  if its v4, install sansa updater.

You might want to let it run a bit.  Mine had the little spinny thing for about 5 min before the update clicked in.
