Sandisk not mounting and shows full

Hello,
This morning I plugged my Ultra USB3 into my computer and it would not mount on my Mac. I just used it the evening before. In disk drive repair ir shows disk okay but that it is full and unmounted. I am currently using RescuePro to recover files. Any suggestions or tips would be great.

Instead of recovering the files, you should try to fix the issue. There are a few ways by which you can make your drive visible on your mac. Check out this article to know how to fix Sd card or flash drive not showing up in Finder or Disk Utility’ error in Mac.
You can try to fix the issue using the First Aid option in Disk Utility. Or, enable ‘Show all Devices’ option. There are many solutions for this error.

Thank you for sharing the article. Unfortunately, I had attempted all these options already

A faulty USB port, cable, or adapter can prevent proper mounting. So, start by checking the USB connection. Then, you can try manually mounting the flash drive via Disk Utility or Terminal. For more fixes for the “USB not showing up on Mac” error, this guide may help.

If the USB drive does not contain important data, I would recommend you to replace it with a new one.

I’m not sure if this will help but try mounting the drive manually in Disk Utility or using diskutil mount in Terminal.

If RescuePro isn’t working well, you can try other data recovery software for better results.

HOPE THIS WILL WORK !!!
