Being that these cards are available on Ebay from sellers such as sinceritytrading and courtesytrading for around $80 - a fraction of the cost at authorized sellers, has anyone actually bought one of those SDXC cards on ebay and tested it with h2testw to be genuine?
i would be very careful that is pretty cheap.
I notice also that they are available at Newegg for only $10 more. Should I be concerned that they, perhaps unknowingly, have fake cards as well?
there is a free program that can help identify fake cards. a fake will usually ahve less storage than it is suppose to and basically they spoof it to look like a larger capacity. the program writes data to the entire storage and verifies the data. the app is named h2testw google that download it and use it to test the cards. if it passes you are probably good to go.
