Hi I got a 32 GB Sandisk Card from ebay Extreme Pro. How do I identify if it is a fake card? Rgds
If you bought it on eBay and it was a ridiculously unbelievable price assume it is.
You can check it though with h2testw.
but this software can ony tell if the card is corrupt and the write and read speed. how can it tell if it is a genuine card?
If you read the webpage I directed you to, you’ll discover how.
But basically, all large capacity cards are counterfeited by using (usually) a 2GB card, which is very cheap and then hacked to initially show a larger capacity. The testing software will measure the actual memory space and accurately report that to you.

Nothing is next. You seem to have a genuine SanDisk card. Consider yourself lucky you didn’t get ripped off buying it from somebody on eBay (like many others have), so use it and enjoy it.
