Hello,

I have a new device, as above. It was working ok but then formatted it using ubuntu disk utility to boot manage to install windows on a partition.

Now the drive does not show on my desk top as usual. I would think I have removed some sandisk files that are needed to run the Fit device itself. The device now just flashes organge a few time and cannot be found to show anywhere on the OS.

I can I restore the device as it comes from the factory.

There is no software on USB devices needed for Windows to recognize them as USB devices.

If you’re referring to SecureAcccess that can be downloaded and reinstalled from here:

Also, this might help. Try formatting it again using FAT32/NTFS and see which one of them will work. I think the Ubuntu tool might have done something here.
