SanDisk Cruzer 32GB - Windows 8 Recovery Disk Error

I purchased a SanDisk Cruzer 32GB USB to make a recovery disk but I can’t get it to work.  When the screen opens that lists the storage options (USB, Disk), the emblem just spins and spins. It never seems to register the USB drive but when I go to my windows explorer I can see the USB listed. Anyone know how to fix this?

I think you need to make this USB bootable first. Have you tried that already?

:confounded:

Hmm… is there an echo?

I had a similar problem with creating a Windows 8 recovery drive.

To make this post short the solution was a “patch” sent to me by my computer manufacturer via email.

THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE RECOVERY CREATION SOFTWARE.
