Hi @rohan,
Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the SD Technical Support team for best assistance and troubleshooting:
It’s certainly disheartening to encounter issues, especially with a new device. First things first, don’t panic – there might be solutions to recover your important files.
Here are a few steps you can try:
Check Connections: Ensure that the SSD is properly connected. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause accessibility issues.
Try Different Ports and Cables: Swap out the USB or SATA cable and try different ports. Faulty cables or ports could be the culprits.
Device Manager (For Windows): Check the Device Manager to see if the SSD is recognized. If it appears there, the issue might be with the drive letter assignment.
Disk Management (For Windows): Open Disk Management to see if the SSD is recognized but needs to be initialized or formatted.
Disk Utility (For Mac): Use Disk Utility to check if the SSD is recognized and if there are any issues that can be repaired.
Try on Another Computer: Test the SSD on a different computer to determine if the issue is with the SSD itself or your computer.
If none of these steps work, it might be time to contact the manufacturer’s customer support, especially since the SSD is still under a month old. They might be able to guide you through troubleshooting or provide a replacement.
I hope this will help you.
