removing RockBox Bootloader from Sansa Clip Plus

HOW TO DO IT?

i did what the manual on their site said.

get the original frimware file (is it clppa.bin?)

put it on the player

sansa updater does nothing.  says “No updatable Sansa product has been recognized.”

Rockbox utility can’t remove it. what am i doing wrong?

Are you actually in the Sandisk firmware while you’re doing this? If the Sansa updater can’t find the player, it sounds like you’re still in rockbox. You need to be running the sandisk firmware.

i did it before, and the only update that comes up is a user manual -__________________-
