Question about the Flickr Feature

Does the Sansa Connect allow you to view your favorites from flickr or just the most intresting pictures of the day. If you are allowed to see your favorites How do i view them.

You can view photos you post under the Yahoo! ID the you use on the Connect.

Any way to view on a different Yahoo ID?  I bought Yahoo Music under an old Yahoo ID, then got Verizon DSL, which comes with an “@verizon.net” Yahoo ID, and with that verizon ID, you get free Flickr Professional (or whatever the Premium version is called).

The Connect always has only one Yahoo ID associated with it.  You’d have to change the ID (Settings menu) but I believe the same option also resets all the other settings on your Connect, and may erase all media from its internal memory.

Maybe the Connect will support two or more IDs in the future firmware of our best dreams?  (In order to support both Launchcast radio/Flickr and wireless Rhapsody.)  I’m beginning to see some of Sandisk’s dilemma.

Im having another problem. I dont know if this is just happening to me but everytime i try to see the picture on flikr it says Yahoo Services Unavailable. Launchcast and the internet radio works great but the flickr feature always say that when i try to go in.

If Yahoo! LaunchCast is working, I don’t see why Flickr would not work.

What model WiFi router do you have?

Can you see the Flickr photos of the day?

Are you only having problems viewing photos you post?

Every thing else works and i am able to listen to music very well but the only thing that doesnt work is flickr. Maybe its because i recently opened an account with flickr and that same day every time i go to flickr on the sansa it say that the yahoo server is down and try again later but its been a few days and it still says that.

email support@sandisk.com with your problem description

give them the following info

  • device id

  • Yahoo user ID

  • firmware version (ZAP)

  • Date and System Time (Settings> Info page) that you try to access your Flickr with the Connect

And if you get no response to your email within a reasonable amount of time, call them.  :wink:
