Got a slight problem. Have just ugraded the firmware for the Clip and since them cannot view music contents when the player is connected to a laptop. However the MP3 player still has all my tracks on it and plays OK. Trouble is I want to change the playlists but cannot find them other than on the MP3 screen. What can I do the rectify the problem?
Following the firmware upgrade, your player may not be in the original USB mode. Files transferred in one mode (MTP vs. MSC) will not be visible from the PC when in the alternate mode.
On the Clip, go to Settings > USB Mode and check your USB mode.

Thanks for the info. However being brain dead I cant find any Settings folder on my clip. All I have is about 8 folders none of which have anything about settings
That’s the settings menu you want, not a folder.
Ido appreciate your replies but I think we have a misunderstanding.
The settings menu.
Is it Vista
Ist It windows
Is it Internet
Is it Sansa Clip
If not where do I find the settings menu?
Remember I am not that smart on computor software
Regards

It is Sansa Clip.
Why is it the simple things bypass me.I did’t even think to go thru the Clip menus on the Clip.
Went straight to the settings, changed them as instructed and now all is OK and I can change my music content.
Thanks for your kind help and patience
