Pause not working

Hi

I have a strange issue with my Sansa Fuze. From time to time I’m unable to pause the playback of music and audiobooks. I click the play / pause button but the device keeps playing (the symbol changes in the display from).

The only thing that helps is switching off the device and then the controls are working again properly.

The firmware version is: 02.03.33P

Does anybody else experience similar issues?

I remember reading something a while back that suggested that if you hit the pause/play button before the Fuze is completely booted, the pause/play button gets confused.

Tthis is true. I do have a lot of music and podcast and I make sure that the fuze is fully booted before I press the play/pause button.

Hi

Thanks for this information. I’m not aware that I pressed the button too early, however, I never look at my device when I operate it.

Lets hope that your solution gets rid of my problem…

I have the same issue, specifically with Audio books.  I have to power off and then back on in order to pause again.

You could always try reloading the firmware.
