waiiiit, how do you change the usb mode…?
i downloaded the windows media player 11 thing…
Settings>System Settings> USB Mode>MTP> Press Middle Button then connect> See if songs are there>If not then
Settings>System Settings>USB Mode> MSC> Press Middle button then connect> See if songs are there
no, but theres no “settings” file.
there isnt any file corresponding to the fuze.
i got it !!!
thank you !!!
Sorry, Should have said this, you need to disconnect it from the computer. Its one of the Menu Options, like Music, Video, Pictures, FM Radio, Voice Recording, and (depending on the Firmware) Slotradio.
i see the files now, but theres nothing in the files…
it only says its plugged in when i put it into the “msc” mode.
theres files like " audible, music, audio books, video, etc"
but when i click on them, theres nothing in the,. D:
Ok HMM. So how did you add them to begin with? Did you use a Program like Windows Media or Rhapsody? When you disconnect it from the computer are the songs still there?
There are two USB modes in the Fuze. Your computer can only see one at a time.
MSC works like a flash drive.
MTP connects with Windows Media Player but you need Windows Media Player 10 or 11. Open your Windows Media Player and look at Help or About to see what version it is. Update it if you need to.
Currently you are looking at MSC mode. Maybe your files were transferred in MTP mode instead. Open Windows Media Player once you have updated it, connect and look around.
hmm, welll,
i looked around the windows media player thingy.
but NOTHING is there.
it says my fuze is empty,
but theres actually 400+ songs on there.
well, uhmm.
we just moved, and i got a new computer.
so i havent downloded in 2+ months.
i used limewire.
and then i would connect my thing up and the files would come and i would just drag the files to the “music” folder of the fuze,
yuup they show on the actual fuze.
like when its on.
what music library?
i tried looking in ALL the folders.
its not there, or anywhere.
i’m really confused. D;
okay,
i’m going to try and explain it better…
when i turn on my mp3 player to just listen to music.
ALL of my files, and music are there.
but, when i plug it in to my computer,
you know how its supposed to show all the music in your mp3 on your computer?
like you go to my computer>>sandisk sansa fuze>>music?
well, the “sandisk sansa fuze” part only comes up when its in MSC mode.
but, the the folders IN it, like “music, video, audiobooks, etc”
things show up also,
but, the things IN the folders. ^^ don’t show up.
i want to delete some things from it, but i cant because, NONE of my music files are there.
hope that makes it clearer.
