New 4GB Clip+ shows empty 8GB card when internal memory has more than 10 files

If I have more than 10 files on internal memory, my 8gb external card appears empty. If i format the internal memory and don’t add any files i see everything on the external card. MSC mode is set and from PC I can see everything from each drive.

Any advice? I’d rather not send this back if I can get it to work.

How about we reset the player to factory settings. Have you tried this?

At first this was resolved by a firmware reupload of 1.02.15A. But the issue returned.

I have switched to RockBox firmware and it works as expected. I will check the next official FW and see if it still persists.

For now I am happy with RockBox.
