My Sansa Clip got wet in the washer and now will automatically turn on when turn off.

I left my clip in the washer when my clothes were washed.  It did not work so I left it to dry for a few days.  I connected to my computer and it turn out to be out of power.  But now whenever it turns off, it automatically turns on again.  Please help.

Ah, the device has not dried out completely, I would venture.

The wee processor in the Clip is about ten millimeters across, and it has 200 pins.  Care to guess how small a droplet could be lurking in there?

Leave the Clip turned off, and place it in a bag of dry rice, in a warm place.  Give it a few days, then try charging your Clip again.
