I am currently having a WD My Passport 2TB, at first the performance of this device was pretty good more or less the same as people reviewed on the internet, but recently I have been recognizing the performance degradation on this device transfer rate, both on PC to My Passport and My Passport to PC transfers.
From PC to My Passport transfer, I am only getting about an average of 45 MB/s transfer rate. Transferring from My Passport to PC is even worse with only an average of 30 MB/s transfer rate.
Transfer rate for transferring from PC is pretty much stable at the average rate, however when transferring to PC the performance started at 100 MB/s++ and after 2 minute transferring the rate fall down to about 25 MB/s and the rate is spiking up and down.
I am looking for any solution to this problem because I have tried many things from the Internet and it haven’t worked so far.
