Hiya, please help.
My Passport has been working and ejecting fine for the past 6 months - no problems. Then, I started my PhD and discovered that all my data has to be password protected.
So, I set up the password protect on my excellent functioning My Passport and felt safe…until I tried to eject it.
It won’t eject (it gives me the option to ‘Force Eject’ which doesn’t look good) and says there is a program still using it but I can’t find one. All programs are quit.
I shut down the computer, restart, unlock the My Passport and am able to eject safely with no problems. So what is the problem?
I don’t want to have to do shut down my computer and wait for it to reboot this EVERY time I back up (every day).
Please can anyone help.
