Hi, most of the questions here are hi tec - this one is simple: i have downloaded the software, tried to instal it on usb drive but it wants to instal on desktop so have to cancel. I can open the USB stick using the software from desktop but there is absolutely nothing indicating the possibility of encrypting the stick. Hoping this question is not so stupid that no one answers!!!
@barryL SANDISK App can be used to create a password protected folder (Vault) and put files inside of it that will be encrypted.
thanks for replying! it looks like I can’t set a password for the drive - only files in a vault - I’ve used that before but it’s a nightmare as you can’t see what’s in your files until you uncrypt - have I got that right?
Copy the installer to the USB, run it from there, set a password, and drag files into the vault to encrypt.
